Leonay Golf Club raises $4,500 for the Royce Simmons Foundation.
On Saturday 19th July, Leonay Golf Club hosted a Charity Golf Day and raffle with proceeds being donated to the Royce Simmons Foundation.
Men's Golf Club President, Les Knox was on hand for golf presentations and drawing of raffle prizes. He thanked everyone who supported the day and those who had donated raffle prizes; Penrith Panthers,Chris Niezabitowski from Prima Art Castle Hill, Drummond Golf, Stonecutters Ridge Golf Club, Leonay Golf Club, Ben Breckenridge (Golf Professional Leonay) Shane Simpson (Laughin Boy Cafe) and The Royce Cafe.
Royce Simmons attended Leonay Golf Club on 4th August when he was presented with a cheque for $4,500 in front of a packed club house. This was the 4th year the charity event has been held, bringing the total donation raised to $18,000.00. Royce thanked the club for again supporting his foundation.
