Nepean/Blue Mountains Prostate Support Group Golf Day.
On Saturday, 9th May 2026 Leonay Golf Club held a charity day in favour of the Nepean/Blue Mountains Prostate Support Group. On a beautiful autumn day 165 players participated in an Ambrose competition with many of them purchasing tickets in a raffle organised by the Prostate Support Group. Prizes available included a game of golf for 4 at Stonecutters, Penrith, Springwood and Leonay, golf bag and golf balls from Drummond, gift vouchers from Lewers Gallery, Bunnings, Dan Murphy’s, Fat Boy Meats and Leonay Golf Club.
The raffle was drawn on Saturday evening involving the Prostate Support Group and Golf Committee representatives. Winners were contacted by phone of their success with prizes available through the Leonay Proshop.
Raffle ticket sales amounted to $1168 with Leonay Golf Club providing $10 for each player on the day towards the groups activities providing a total of $2818.
The Prostate Support Group have expressed their appreciation to the Leonay Golf Club for providing the venue, very generous donations and the support from golfers on the day.
