Warren and Gibson Pennants
Players Player Awards 2024.
Now that the regular season is over for the Warren and Gibson Pennant Teams, at last Monday’s Tee Lotto, it was time to crack open the sealed voting containers and find out who took out the Players Player for each of the Warren Pennants Team and the Gibson Pennants Team.
In recognition of the dedication and influence that both John Malvern and John Egan (dec) have had on Leonay Golf Clubs Warren and Gibson Pennant Teams over many years, the Players Player award for each team is named in their honour. The Players Player for each team is voted on ONLY by the players and reserves themselves … not by the managers, caddies, supporters or anyone else from the club.
Congratulations go to Peter McFarlane for the "John Malvern Players Player Award" from the Warren Team and Bill Klohn for the "John Egan Players Player Award" for the Gibson Team. Both of these players were voted as their team’s Players Player in 2024. Your team mates all cast their vote to say you’ve proudly played so well for Leonay this season. Well done fellas!
