Warren and Gibson Update
Round 6 at Brighton Lakes - 25/08/2024.
Both the B and C Grade Teams travelled to Brighton Lakes for the last round in the preliminary series of the 2024 Warren and Gibson Pennants.
The Warren Team only needed to tie one match to confirm entry into the Elimination Round of the Final Series ... but winning 2-1 actually seeded them in 4th spot overall which means they'll get Fathers Day off this weekend, avoiding going to the Elimination Round and go straight into the Quarter Finals against Cabramatta to be played at Bardwell Park Golf Club on the 8th September. Good luck boys!
Unfortunately the Gibson Team had a 2-1 loss on the day but that shouldn't take away that they finished in a very respectable 2nd place in their division. Clearly Macarthur Grange had a solid team this year winning every match, so coming in 2nd to those guys is a great effort indeed and doing Leonay proud.
Again, thanks also goes out to all the caddies, supporters, spectators and followers for this 2024 season ... but for the Warren Team, it's not over yet. They'll get a well earned rest this weekend and the following week head to Bardwell Park to take on Cabramatta in the Quarter Final.
