Warren and Gibson Pennants 2026
Captains Report

With the Pennants season over for 2026, the Warren and Gibson teams had a mixture of results with neither team unfortunately qualifying for semi play-offs. Their effort was amplified by determination during competition representing Leonay GC with a number of results determined at the last hole.

A special acknowledgement to the team managers John Malvern (Warren) and Bruce Baker (Gibson) both in having the responsibility of organising their respective teams. In a change of venue with support of club management, the halfway break was relocated to the old canteen room with less effort required to transport BBQ unit.

A number of support members in Sue Cain and Dean Mallard who were the cooks on the BBQ halfway break during home competition rounds and Mark Cain in setting up. Comments of appreciation from opposition teams throughout the competition rounds. Job well done.
