Vets Interclub Challenge
Glenmore 2026
The first event on the Vets Interclub calendar was held at Glenmore Heritage Valley on Wednesday, 18th February 2026. Leonay provided eighteen (18) players on a fine but hot day. The weather conditions must have suited many of our players who rose to the occasion:-
- Mens 2BBB Winners: Stephen Archer and Peter Blazek with 49pts
- Mens A Grade Singles 2nd: Stephen Archer with 38pts
- Mens B Grade Singles Winner: Peter Blazek with 41 pts
- NTP C Grade Winner: Kim Freer
Leonay were also winners of the Team Event scoring 153 pts. The team included Peter Blazek, Stephen Archer, Andrew Burns and Vince Preca. Congratulations to everyone who played on the day and in particular to the winners who are listed above. To win anything at Glenmore is an achievement but to win the Team Event is extra special.

The next event is to be held at Stonecutters Ridge on Monday, 16th March 2026. Entries close on 9th March. A nomination sheet is on the Vets Notice Board for players to enter their details should they wish to play. Men are required to be 55 and ladies 50 years and registered with the Western Sydney Region Veterans Golf Association (WSRVGA).
